中国公民留宿外国人或向外国人租赁房屋须知

根据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》第三十九条和第七十六条规定, 外国人在旅馆以外的其他住所居住或者住宿的,应当在入住后24小时内由外国人或留宿人,持外国人护照、留宿人户口本等材料向居住地公安派出所办理外国人住宿登记手续。未按规定办理登记的,给予警告,可以并处二千元以下罚款。警方提示,如“两会”期间,市民家中有外国籍亲友入住或留宿外国人或将房屋向外国人租赁,应按规定办理相关住宿登记。

According to the "exit immigration law" article 39 and article 76 of the rules, for foreigners who reside or stay in domiciles other than hotels, they or the persons who accommodate them shall, within 24 hours after the foreigners’ arrival, go through the registration formalities with the public security organs in the places of residence. Foreigner need to bring their passport, and the Residence Booklet of the house owner for registration. Anyone fail to follow the above procedures will be subject to a warning. A fine of up to 2000 RMB may be applied. During the 13th CAEXPO & CABIS, resident homes with foreigners or foreign friends staying, as well as home with lease of foreigner tenants, should go through the registration.
